“During the peak of the pandemic, I lived on a mountain with friends. Since we couldn’t travel, we imagined other places by listening to music from all over the world. This mix is a homage to that time – despite its difficulties, these remain precious musical memories. The mix brings together gwoka, spiritual jazz, afro funk, Afro Cuban rhythms, balearic, and ambient sounds. It’s designed to be listened to in nature or quiet places, alone or with friends.
