“This mix is not necessarily an uplifting one but an emotional one filled with strong longing for my country Lebanon and deep appreciation of modern and traditional Arabic music. It’s been heart breaking hearing the news of the series of explosions and fires which have been expediently destroying my country. Lebanon was already going through an economic crisis in the midst of the pandemic and prior to the pandemic it was waking up to a revolution led by its people to topple down their corrupt and dysfunctional government. Many friends and family over there are now struggling to make ends meet. Therefore, this mix is dedicated to them and to all the Lebanese people who are fighting for a better place. This mix is also an invitation to keep supporting Lebanon through donating to wonderful organisations such as the Lebanese Red Cross and the Lebanese Foodbank.“
